What is elõs (electro-optical synergy)?
elõs is a novel, revolutionary technology that combines optical energy (laser or intense pulsed light) with bi-polar radio frequency (RF). This combination of energies penetrates the target structure more effectively than laser or IPL alone without burning the skin, which translates into greater efficacy with minimum discomfort.
How does it work?
The epidermis is cooled then optical energy heats the target, decreasing the electrical resistance for RF energy. RF energy is attracted to the preheated target and penetrates the dermis, further heating the target zone. The cool epidermis increases resistance to the RF energy current pushing it deeper and trapping it there, in addition to keeping the heat away from the epidermis.
